8am class on Mondays != fun. The UMN and airlines seem to have a lot in common. Both lose money. Both are supported by the government. And both 'overbook'. This practice originated in airlines because they figured out a certain percentage of scheduled flyer's wouldn't show up. In order to maximize profits they would then preemptively sell more tickets than they had seats for. Well someone over at Carlsonmust have been taking a look at class lists and decided to apply some principles of a struggling industry to an institution that couldn't care less if it is being economically responsible. I sat on the floor today in Chem..then I listened to the exact speech pattern that is used for Apu on the Simpson's discuss the volume of a cube. A CUBE!!!!1. (L*W*H for those who don't know.) Also we discussed the conversion of M to mm. (multiply by 1000.) This is CHEM1021. Not CHEM1001, CHEM1011, CHEM1017. You need ~30/40 on a fairly difficult placement test to get in. I cry.

Today was boring. Meh, at least I got adequate food. Tommorow I will look into school related stuff.

So lofts.....yeeeaaaahhh. 'Bout that. In most [umn] dorms residents put names in an online lottery to aquire lofts for their beds. The term 'lottery' is misleading because essentially everyone who requests one will get one. Usually the loft is placed in their room before they move in. In Middlebrook (which is generally a pretty intelligent place) we have the highest ratio of lofts to residents of all the UMN dorms. So the reshall director [who is undeserving of a name, and also drives a korean car] decides that a line to a centrally located(the basement) and accessible(one way in, no way out) loft distrobution area (a pile of wood) would be the best plan. However that statement is incorect in that it implies an element of planning. So in conclusion 9:35am to ~1pm was spent in line today. Biotch

The LAN as we knew it has pretty much died with a bunch of people moving, college, people no longer gaming, etc. That said the LAN party needs to be redefined. We shall make it easier, more spontaneous, mobile, and more fun. Gone are the times of the fri/sat/sun commitment. Gone are the times of the 6 hours of installs. Gone are logistics of the unweildy 20 person gatherings and the planning required to set them up and tear them down. I invision a more mobile, fluid future. Imagine four cars pulling up alongside each other in a walmart parking lot. Power inverters powering laptops off of cars. Cat5 through windows or even wifi. Set up time: 10min. Discomfort: some.

So that was my brilliant motivational speech/idea. Enjoy. Or we could just have a normal lan of likely the mini variety.

Delano is the perfect theatre. Why you ask? I'll tell you why! Yarr!
Location: It lies on a big road, as all theatres should. It would be better if there was no town between me and it, but it has a big road non the less.
Number of screens: I know this is like saying the iPod is #1 because it is easy but I'm gonna go ahead and be hypacrytical for a sec. K?. K. Fewer screens = less choice. This is typically bad. However in a movie market where so many are made, and so many suck its good. They can only play the commercially rellevant ones. Which is to say all of you who enjoy analyzing movies based upon their production values probably cry. But I see movies for the sole purpose of entertainment.
People: Delano has no people. I mean litterally none. This is good. It means there is less chance that annoying and or 12yo people will be in the same theatre as you. Gaaaaahh. I just realized that I am spelling theatre like a european d00d. (3 different and excellent linnks there)

On that note I no longer know or care what I was writting about.

Oh and I am using an Apple KB and not using a spell checker. If I begin to average 2 comments a day I may start spell checking. That is all.

Title courtesyof Gunther and the Sunshine Girls cd "Pleasureman". I am typing this on a Apple Pro keyboard. I like Apple boards. I really want one of those blue-green ones from a G3. They have a pretty decent key action, the layout is pretty normal, and most importantly they are small and sturdy. My Logi cordless died a month or so ago and I've been using a borrowed GE board since, so today I went to the lovely UMN used computer store and found a Mac KB for $10. I will now mod it. I, however have learned my lesson and will not be painting individual keys this time. That was hell. And that KB still doesn't work.

k, I have my phone, it's lovely, I should have bought a PDA\Phone a long time ago.

:::::Proc: X buttons in Windows Mobile 5 don't actually close apps. Little did I know that after playing with all of the apps on the phone, they were all still running, making every successive one slower. 200mhz, albeit an efficient AMD like 200mhz with built in DSP, isn’t enough to have Pocket IE, PDF viewer, Skype, WMP10, Solitaire, Device Explorer, AIM, outlook and active sync running at the same time. Actually I think the trusty 1600mhz T'bred would have issues with that too.
:::::Memory: enough ram, I think 64mb(could be 128mb)of RAM and 128mb ROM (all but ~40 used by WM5). The RAM is plenty, however if I find a good deal I'm going to pickup a 2gb mini-SD card.
:::::Screen: QVGA is not VGA, however it is still beautiful. And a touch screen.
:::::Radio: I have already unlocked it from T-mo, effectively making it ~$200 more valuable on EBay, I get ~3 bars in my dorm which with the old phone was ~1 bar. The WiFi performance is decent, slightly slower than the laptop when loading pages, but the range is excellent. Bluetooth works, by definition the range sucks as does the speed, but the lappy has it that should make syncing wireless.
:::::Battery: Good, but coming off of a Sony which at first could go 2 weeks between charges, a slight downgrade. But considering how much I play with it.....
:::::Keyboard: the KB is a little quirky. I think all keyboards this size are, however I am getting the hang of it and should be able to pound out some decent rates pretty soon.
:::::Audio: blows me away. 3 speakers. The normal speaker is there, and gets plenty loud for speakerphone/ring tone duties, but then they through in 2 more speakers, 1 on each side. Pull up WMP10 and blast away, these speakers are on par with good laptop speakers, maybe just a little less bass.
:::::Camera: It's a cell phone camera. It is 1.3mp, which is good for an American phone, but otherwise crappy.

All in all I’m not sure if it is this device specifically or just this class of devices that rock, either way I=happy, saga=over.

foobar2000 handled an 18k item play list(mp3/aac/wma)quite well using only 64mb of ram and ~4% cpu while playing. With a normal situations(1-5 disc play lists and mp3) it takes ~8mb of ram and 2-3%cpu. granted this is on the trusty 1600mhz beast that is my AthlonXP1700+. Best of all it never crashes. Nevar. It's at version .82 or so and absolutely destroys winamp5/wmp10/that-other-one. It features a light GUI(in other words its not a retarded alien who ate a bunch of funky glowing marbles that are supposed to be "play"?) with clear controls, can be resized, is free, and if you get the "special" version it will play literally every format of music conceived. Likely it will even play stuff encoded by in Sony formats, but this feature was unable to be tested because no test files could be found.

Firefox - no need for a link because anyone not using it by now would need help installing it anyway. Opera is improving, and might someday challenge firefox if it weren’t for its similarities to IE. The same thing is true of Avant. It is all based on whatever IE is based upon(mosaic??) which I'm beginning to think is just unstable. And therefore not worth building on.

knoppix- quite simply the easiest way to play with Linux on any type of pc. Since it doesn’t depend upon the HDD it can be safely used on other peoples pc's for surfing hentai or whatever my readers do on peoples computers. It also make for a great emergency disc. It contains open office which is pretty much M$ office 97 with some nifty improvements. That means when you must write a paper, but said hentai hosed your registry you don’t fail. Also you can burn all of your surviving hentai to CD-R's or DVD-R's depending upon how many you have.

4. It has a 2 yo install of said windows, this means i installed both service packs separately
5. This install has had ~10 bios' and ~15gfx driver installs, 3-5 mobo driver installs
6. It at one point had 2 power supplies
7. It took a 2 foot drop onto concrete
8. 3 of the 4 hdds(ata) have been hot swapped
9. It has been uploading ~9gb a day during the 3 weeks
10. During that time i have killed approximately every system task
11. I left the window wide open during that snow storm

So I hope this is the second to last post about my phone. So far I have endured a 2+ week back order, Having the wrong phone sent to me, calling to order a new phone, calling again to get a tracking number, finding out that my second order didnt happen, being called at work and told that i had recieved the wrong phone, being told that stores are sold out, that tmo corporate is sold out, calling stores, finding out that they are not sold out, calling tmo corp and being told that there is no way to get my quote price at said stores, finally getting a new phone ordered, being told that tmo has absolutly no way to ship anything other than UPS groud or 3 day, finally getting a tracking number, being told that tmo has absolutly no way of sending me a prepaid shipping label, being given 300 free minutes and $25 worth of credits,

The above is mostly in order and required ~3 hours of phonetime since Wed. All of this was talking to either managers or account specialists or managers of account speciallists. So the question I pose to tmo is this: Are you Incompetant or Dishonest?

Yestreday was spent shopping. 7 hours. Yes, I survived and am blogging this. Several things occured to me. Nate and I are really Danielles bitches. I almost enjoy shopping(?) and I have good taste when it comes to prom dresses(?) and Teavana iced tea is very good. It's even better when its free. Oh and Tmo stores suck, verizon is very good about warranty work, any food at the MOA is better than the trough we call university dining services. Which brings up another point. Yes we are at a university. 1/3=correct. Dining: not so much dining as eating. Dining implies a certain aspect of culture and maybe a placesetting with, oh I dont know, maybe non-one-time-use salt shakers and papers strewn about. So were still at 1/3. Services: Props to the kids who work there. They do what they can and generaly do a pretty decent job, but Services? No one served me. So in conclusion: it should be called University Eating Place. or UEP.

Crusade had a little photo scavanger hunt last night. As part of my "Get Out and Do Stuff" (AKA GOADS) plan, I attended. Now I do realize that I stole GOADS from TJ/Dan/Curt/etc, but the name conveys the meaning so well and I felt no need to reinvent the wheel. The hunt was approximately fun. There was a lot of running involved, and running is best not done, outside of that running should not be done in a Columbia parka, and definately not by an "almost asmatic" in temperatures requireing a Columbia parka. This was offset by some excelent pictures. In one scene I get a manicure from 5 girls. In another, one our group is handcuffed by a MPLS-PD officer. In another the Beatles "Abbey Road" cover was reenacted. But at least the equal to this was talking to a friend I now know much better on the way to and from.

In this light Tmo fricken spammed me today. I was like "WTF mate?". An advertisement to watch the NBA on TNT starting feb 22 or something. And then a link to tmobile/nba complete (wap accesisble i might add). I then call Tmo. They dont know anything about it. Its from an intra network number, with a link to their site...they might want to get on top of that. And I'm considering selling my life to them for two years...........

It's cold here. It's minnesota here. Ok. So my first 2 statements do not controdict eachother. More specifically it's cold in my room. My floor is 60*F as read by my Craftsman IR thermometer. My Ceiling is 70*F. My walls are a gradient. This gives t(h)=60+h. Computing the integral we can gather that T(air)=Fricken Cold. Anyways(s added to anger myself)...I'm goign home this weekend. First, yes I do slightly care about Valentine's day (or Singles Awareness Day as Bacon informed me last night). 2ndly RAWR.

3rdly and Mainly. Mechanical Pencils. They are in my opinion the only way to do scribe complex and abstract tasks. If one were to sketch a picture a mechpenc would certainly do a fair job with the correct lead, but it would be hopelessly outclassed by actual art supplies. If one were to write out a few sentences somewhere a mechpenc will work, but a pen will give much better definition, will work on more surfaces, and will probably afford better penmanship. If one wants to write a long document a computer is almost a nessisity. These are not the areas in which a mechpenc excel.
Abstraction. It's abstract. Drawings, complex arangements of charachters, precise alignements. Computers do these quite well. but they suck for ease of use. For equtions you certainly can enter them into an equation editor, bu the combination of immature GUI and keyboard/mouse switching makes it a chore. Pens can handle it, it often requires reworking. And lets face it: who really wants another distraction in sharpening ol' woody?
This brings me to choosing a mechpenc. There are some constants, there are some highly personal areas.
Grip: this is highly personal. I prefer a medium to large grip as I have large hands. Some prefer one the diameter of the traditional pencil. Some prefer rubber grips. They feel its more comfortable.I prefer hard rubber, plastic or metal. Checkered aluminum being my current favorite. I feel it gives the pencil some mass and makes it feel solid. Not to mention the secure hold the checkering allows.
Advance Mechanism: The two main types are the standard axial push button and the grip advance. The only advantage to the grip advance is that it allows more flexibility in the design of the teh eraser. Theoretically(though ive never seen it done) a massive eraser could be put on the end and its use would not advance the lead. The other side is that is creates more complexity, often requires a larger grip, can jam, and makes orientation a variable in use. Straight push is the standard, its simple and allows for a quite small tube. It's main downside is that using the eraser can advance the lead.
Eraser: Caps over erasers make the package look better, but are either never removed or quickly lost. Size is the most important consideration. I prefer a large eraser simply so i dont have to search for refil as often. Small erasers are nice for detail work and as such are often included on drafting pencils. Small erasers also have a bad habit of breaking off. Teh ultimate is the advancable eraser. It adds size and complexity, yes, but it also allows the perfect amount of eraser to be present at all times. A tradoff I'm always willing to make.
Tip: The tip is crucial. It holds the lead in alignmet for the last few hundreths of an inch between the paper and the pencil. The tradoff here is flexibilty vs. pocketability. A metal tip is typically much more rigid than a plastic one, but it is also much sharper. So while your lead may not break, you pocket may tear. Some molded (as opposed to the tube type) metal tips get close to the ideal. The tube metal tips also afford a better view of the paper and a more precise edge for straightedge use. Some pencils(noteably the PH.D.) use a retractable tip. While this does allow for a very blunt tip while not in use, the tolerances would have to be much better than they are to allow for the rigidity of a typical metl tip.

So what does this all boil down to? A drafting pencil with a separate eraser.

So many of you(aka my one reader: You know who you are) are familiar with the art or cahnging peoples facebook acounts. Well this weekend I pulled a little proof of concept. I don't claim that its cool or amazing or difficult, but one can change the school email of an accountto their own (or a derivative if your school is like mine). Then log out and click "i forgot my password" and a confirmation email w/link to reset it will be sent to your email. Then you own the account. And some people need to learn to take jokes just a fraction as well as they make them.

I am currently an electrical engineering student. As such I appreciate well thought out designs. Props go to New Balance for making the experience of shoe shopping so freaking easy. First off their sizes are consistent. Not only in a certain series, but across their entire product line. 11.5 Sandal = 11.5 Hiker = 11.5 Runner. Awesome. Much of this can be attributed to their work force: they employ old ladies in Maine instead of young girls in SE asia. Then their is their design philosophy: Design a good product, give it a numeric name, and release it. Then over the next year they look at the current model and fix the obvious problems, and make an experimental change or two and release it as the [old number + 1]. It's much closer to the progression of software than the typical radical redesign and rename that Nike, etc does every year. It makes sense, why develop a totally new product every year when you can perfect a very competitive design? They may not have the market share that Nike has, but what they have, will not decrease.

Oh and since I have resorted to writing about shoes so save me and IM me.

It's good stuff. Just enough edge. As I sit here atempting to do physics homework there is distinctly hopeful vibe in the air. Hope is all I could ever ask for. Plans for this semester:

Wake up 2 ours before class. For my 10:10 class this means 8:00. For my 11:15 class, this means 9:00. This way I will have a buffer if I go back to sleep or fail to get up. Also I'll hopefully be awake for those classes since they are small and being obviously tired would be bad. Thirdly I hope to avoid the sleep all day thing and maintain my ability to get up early.

Read stuff. Reading is good. I will attempt to read or at least scan the what will be covered in class. I will attempt to read something (historical or fiction)for my own entertainment. I will continue reading my Bible.

Yes loyal readers, this is it. One quarter of a hundred posts have been posted. Most have been selfish and fairly pointless, little more than something to pass the time writing or to think outloud or to give an insight into my inner introvert. In the next 25 posts I can promis drama and action and more random links and even a swimming pool in every backyard. And about this swimming pool... It will have a few elves in it, the elves will be the oopa loompa style ones not the LOTR style ones. and they will be wearing candy and teh water will contain a lot of chlorine and the candy will melt and the elves will get bored and we all know what happens when a bunch of naked elves are in a pool(if you dont know i suggest you ask either the nearest old person, parent, person of the opposite sex or man of god). So when that much "genetic material" is in such a mutagenous material something is bound to happen. And then all of that disolved sugar comes into play as food for the organism. So to make a long story short I can promis pools, but you really dont want one as it would probably end up being the end of you.

So finals week...yeah kinda fun...oh wait i lie. Actually finals are going well. My first final, Biology 1009(supposedly the most failed class ever), was to be 2 hours long. I studied for about a half-hour. I took the test in 28 minutes. So I spent less than 1/2 of the time scheduled to take the exam including studying! And I got 39/50, enough to pull a B in the class. pwnd! Calc final...I have a very good feeling about this one. It went smoothly. I finished in about 2:08 out of 3 hours. My scores on math tests seem to directly corellate to how much of a rush I am in to finish. Anytime I'm done early is a good sign. IT calc is nice because they do not try to trick you, the tests fairly represent what you have learned. Now I just have a Physics test on monday. I get an equation sheet so I anticipate no problems considering 74% is an A-. Then on Wed I have a Econ test...again #'s so nothing to bad....thats enough for tonight.

This week went by very fast. I have been meaning to post here for a while. I have also been meaning to do homework for a while. I have also been meaning to return a call for a while. I have also been meaning to find another class for a while. I have also been meaning to write an email to a freind for a while. Meh. It's Sunday The weekend has been rather depressing. Saturday morning was fun. Then I became tired. The feeling hasn't gone away. Hopefully it will leave today. Maybe Vespers will help.

Obscenity. I'm not a big fan of it. Verbal obscenity pervades college life. The word "fuck" is truthfully used on average once per every 2-3 sentences here. So when I post on a "kinda churchy" forum with the line "How the hell is this an answered prayer?" in response to a misplaced thread and am countered with "Whoa, keep it clean mitch" I am a bit miffed. I was chastised by the same person once before for literally typing "f*****" in reference to when I twirled my keys to the roof of a three story building. I am acquiring a distaste for certain colleges that seem to have superiority complexes that come complete with tall horses and the moral high ground. I was very temped to follow that up with a resounding "Fuck you!" however i determined any humor there would probably be lost on the recipients and would have probably been removed by the admins. Admins, thats a rant for another day. I will not be posting there for a while.

Its been a while. The odd thing is that I wasn't even very busy, I guess I have just been slacking in all aspects of life. So what to say? Th week was fairly uneventful. Ate at UDS, did HW..blah, blah, blah. The weekend was more interesting. On Saturday I scheduled myself to do some campaigning. I assumed it would be phone bank crap. I also asumed that it would be in mpls or otherwise dwntwn. I was gloriously wrong. As usual it was Danielle, Myself, and one of the older/powerful people. In this case it was Missy who also happened to be our driver. And *happy clappy jumpy* we got to go door to dooring in *repeat* Plymouth for *meh* Judy Johnson. This was very nice because not only did I know the area, and not only were the houses upscale(read supportive), but I was able to get my car! I enjoy driving. Sometimes too much. Anyway if we worked two 3 hour shifts we got $50 if we worked one we got nothing. Our driver had to leave after one shift. Luckily my parents (thank you!(i hope you didn't receive this thank you))dropped off my vehicular unit in the Rainbow parking lot. So I got to drive around for 3 hours. We got pissed at the map we were following and decided that we had earned our money and stopped campaigning and went instead to Rainbow. She bought meds and some Mexican pop(Jumex), I bought chips and salsa. Neither Danielle or I were at the pinnacles of our mental stability. It was pretty hillarious. And the wonders that a can of mango juice can work on a smallish girl! We collected our money and some candy. But anyway Danielle needed shot glasses and to go to Target. So we went to Buffalo, she got the micro-tour of the hometown from 55 and eventually we got to Target. At Target I went female clothes shopping it was interesting. Apparently I am being trained to be dateable. Then I saw Ted. Ted is/was a coworker at the bank. Very entertaining fellow, but very busy herding his children, one of which looked very fresh. Next we went to housewares. Shot glasses are expensive at Target (though "cute"). $12 for 5 glasses was too much for the budget. So we left, but not before I found a Brita water filter and Danielle found a jacket among other items of clothing. Then it was time to play hone tag. After several 3 way calls and about 5 min of hold time 4 of us headed over to our local Applebees. Nate, Kyle and Bill had been there the night before and we sat in the same general area as they had the night before(except for Kyle who was farming). Holly pulled a repeat and was our waitress, she did not sit on anyone's lap. We all ate appetizers. Nachos Nuevos maybe the best food on earth. Then we Bill went home. The rest of us went to a liquor store and tried to buy shot glasses. We had them in our hands, we were offered Smirnoff vodka, but the wench at the checkout decided that being dumb was the order of the day and refused to sell us shot glasses because we weren't 21. I shaketh my fist at thee! Then we went to a gas station. They told us to go to [Sneiders or Wallgreens or somthing] they had none. Then we were going to go to Nate's house. I saw a very seedy looking liquor store that I know the owners/managers of so we went there. They laughed at the liquor store wench and sold us the same shot glasses at a higher price. It was good. Then I called Nate and cancelled because it was getting late (well 7:30ish) and my parents wanted to drive me back before 8:00. So that was Saturday. It was fun, tiring , but fun. Sunday was not as good. I woke up at [sometime before noon] and went to UDS, they had a good breafast. Actually I think anything would have been good because all that I ate on Sat was a plate of nachos, a piece of terrible pizza, a granola bar, a bottle of water, and a $.25 orange cola. But eggs and bacon were doubly so. Then it was calc time. 5 frickin hours of calc. It was terrible, I was tempted to call Kofi Anon and see if he could get my calc teacher tried for human rights violations. 5 hours!!!. Then I went sat around, cleaned a little, listened to music and generally chilled. A friend IM'ed me and ended up trying to find my dorm. He lives in Dinkytown, he doesn't know where the Washington Ave. Bridge is, enough said. My mom called, told me a made for TV classic was remade into another made for TV special, it was entertaining. The Poseiden Adventure. T's blow up a cruise ship. Blah, gunshot, blah. Then I went to Vespers at Bethel. It was awesome. It gets better every time. It starts the week off on such a positive note. I would like to shake the hand of whoever invented the midnight worship service, you are brilliant.

Its been a decent week. Tests were good. Just for clarification: Tests were good! I nearly doubled my previous effort on my calc midterm. I guess that says more about my previous score that this one. But whatever, the past is gone, and my score pwned most of the class. Go me (i can't take all of the credit). I discovered Building 429 - The Space Between Us. Great music. Great message. Exactly what I needed. It kept me hopefull when I was a bit lonely and tired (you know the mild college depression). Skipped out of physics 25 min early on Wednesday. It felt so good. Now I just feel serene and content. Its weird.

So France, what’s up? So two black teenagers are fried while hiding from police and the entire populace of your slums decides to rise up? First off why were the kiddies hiding? And secondly they should probably win a Darwin Award for their choice of hiding spot. But really, does the accidental death of two warrant the destruction of many millions of dollars of stuff, not to mention at least one confirmed death? Let me get this straight- your urban poor are angry at the man, so they go and beat some more urban poor to death?, and then destroy much of the little they had? WTF? On a side note the 4700 cars that they have now burned probably offset anything the Kyoto accord claimed to do. And this has been going on for weeks? Did the horseman carrying the message to the Prime Minister get stoned (in either sense) on his way? Don't they have cell phones over there? Or even a standard telly. Seriously, where is the response time? Oh wait, the PM can't do anything because he has practically no armed forces, and his 8000+ police are unarmed. Surprise, surprise. Wow France, I hope no evil dictator comes along needing to be deposed of. Oh wait....one did and he owned you....and now look where you are. But those curfews.....yeah, good luck with that seeing as law enforcement has been working out well for you as of late.

Despair is not a justification for destruction. Destroying stuff will only increase the despair. Attention? Why do they need attention? So they can get another welfare handout? That'll keep 'em happy approximately one week. Then what? They've learned Riot=$$, so they, possesing some reasoning skillz, decide to riot again. Then they effectively have the french government hostage. But really who hasn't at some point ;)

Another weekend is drawing to a close. My weekend was rather unproductive, but sometimes some sloth is needed. Sleep is a precious commodody here, as is time for introspection. Friday night Willy came over and Nate, Myself, and Natrop hung out. Ended up watching Super Trooppers. More significantly Natrop got stuck inside his car because his battery was dead due to headlights not turned off and the little problem that he can't manually unlock his doors.

Saturday morning I got up at an un-Godly hour (8:30) and got ready to go door to dooring for some random republican. I am not sure how I feel about supporting people who I know little about. I guess I just have to trust the leadership of the pary to choose candidates who are conservative. I was hoping to go door to door. That didn't work because the person I was going to be partnered with didn't want to be in close proximity to another guy who is frankly not a good person. So I called about 200 people over the course of 4 hours. In a low momment at which i was struck by dislexia/stupidity I called the same house(which was having a birthday party!) twice in the course of about 45 seconds. They were not entertained. So after I got home and ate I pulled up Tombstone. It's pretty good, I enjoyed it. Later that night night I got bored so after an hour or so of Mario Kart on Gamecube Eric, and Danielle came over for a movie party. The Ghostbusters series is a pretty high quality franchise. I suggest anyone looking for a movie to enjoy (not analyze)check them out(again for most).

This morning I slept in. It was sooo good. Got up, had lunch, went to St. Thomas, came back, and here I am rocking out with..oops..to some Mathew West while waiting for it to Vespers time. I should do HW.

Acutally fri will be a movie party and i will eat shrim cocktail and sip on a nice lemonade. yes, that is what i will do. everyone is invited, but bring a chair and some food

I am again bored. It can be assumed that I am typing this as a last line of defense against doing absolutely nothing so form now on I will not have to preface my posts with this qualifier. On to my day: woke up about 30 min before my 9:45 Bio class. That isn't good. Showering and eating and gathering notes and such takes longer than one might expect. Then I did all(well actually not all, just all of what I managed to do, which is to say most) of my Calc homework. I actually didn't mind because I get some sort of masochistic pleasure from related rates. Then I ate. 2 slices of pizza and 2 glasses of fruit juice in 7 minutes followed by a half-mile walk does not a happy stomach make. Then Newton and his damnable theories stole another 3 hours of my life. So that's today. Now I will organize my music. I have the largest Christian music collection on "the hub" and my responsibility of supplying the Christian pirates with high quality, well organized and diverse music has been lacking sorely in the 2nd category.

I am tired, I'm not going to lie. That is in fact one of my main goals for this web log. I will not lie unless it's absolutely necessary or it's a lot more convenient. Now back to my quasi-point. I am typing this from the cage/shelter that is my single room in Middlebrook. For those of you unfamiliar with the UMN(which will from now on be simply called "the U") Middlebrook is a dormitory on the west side of the river, away from most of the lecture hall/classrooms. Right now that means nothing; it's a nice little walk. But what does mean something is that we are also away from all of the other dorms. It's nice in a way since I really don't see drunk people unless I go to the 12th floor, but life is also a little bit slower paced over here. What I'm trying to get at is that I'm bored. And I really shouldn't be. I have plenty of homework and laundry to do, but somehow it never seems to get done. Well actually it does, but at the last minute. More efficient that way anyhow. But I digress. Or procrastinate. More likely the second. So this week starting tomorrow (its too late for today) I will no longer do homework or anything else the day its due. Disclaimer: "the day it's due" starts depends upon my sleep cycle and not upon the clock. So 1AM is not illegal, just really painful.

From what I've gathered from my friends and their blogs I have determined I missed a fabulous (pronounced however you want) weekend at home.

Comment: I love comments. I lust after comments, I want to read them over and over again with the door locked and strip all bits of extractable meaning from them with only the likely carcinogenic emissions from this cathode.

I'm in physics now. Talking about centrifugal force right now. It is a bit dry. Though again I love the accent/speech-pattern. Ooh pendulums! So on Saturday night and Sunday morning I was in a rousing (no not arousing, well at least most of it) game of truth or dare. All of the participants were sworn to secrecy but one already gave in to temptation and to her I say: PANTS!! Some resourceful (read: I hate you) person decided to bust (chuckle to self about dare involving peanut butter and bust) out my shaving cream. Things happened, people were licked, fellatio (Google it all you very innocent people) was performed upon my toothpaste- twice. Then I flung my keys onto the roof of Anderson Hall, which as luck happens to have it, is three stories tall.

I hate calculus; I am in calculus right now. I am hardcore bored. The prof is entertaining though. He once asked "are you afraid to ask questions because of my face" he's Greek or Russian, or something. There must be a strange land somewhere that all professors and TA's come from. We'll call "Ambiguita". Ambiguitanians have strange accents that may but do not necessarily match their appearance and typically have odd and interesting expressions and speech patterns. Does the U recruit these people or grow them? Seriously. But it entertains me so I'm happy that they do whatever they do.

I have determined that I will make some money off this thing. So everybody view my blog daily and click on the ads if you see something you like. To keep everyone comming back and the money rolling in I will offer the best content of any crappy blog EVER. Hazaah. Also featured: the words Hazaah and Wench. Daily tech bits will keep you people with social lives more informed than your pathetic freinds who dont read this. I may occasionally rant politically when I feel the need. If I go crazy and you happen to view this page in the ten minutes before I regain my mind and remove the post, you may see my innermost thought/emotions. So check back often- I may be insane.
